When Tsunami stuck on the boxing day of 2004, peaople down coastal Sri Lanka lost all their hopes. But fortunatly few civil sciety organizations in Sri Lanka launched carefully planned programmes to rehabilitate those affected. Sarvodaya - country's premier civil service movement layed their hands on an ECO VILLAGE project. 53 Tsunami affected families live in harmony growing organic vegetables and sharing their crop while youth playes a lead role in solid waste management.
